Will I be scheduled to drive at night?

Our dispatch plans loads around daytime driving rather than overnight runs. We review timing with you as we plan each route; unexpected road or customer delays can still change a day.

Do I have a say in the loads and miles?

Yes. We discuss your preferred lanes, availability, timing and mileage goals when planning freight. Our focus is worthwhile loads and a plan that makes sense for your operation.

What is Spinnaker Nine's commission?

The company terms table lists a 12% commission. How the percentage is calculated, and which of the other charges apply to your operation, is explained on the prequalification call and set out in the written lease agreement before signing.

How often are settlements paid?

The listed settlement day is Wednesday for the previous week. Paperwork requirements and any cutoff will be confirmed in the written offer.

Can I see the rate confirmation?

Spinnaker Nine is committed to rate and settlement transparency. The exact rate-confirmation process will be explained during prequalification and orientation.

Is dispatch forced?

No. We plan loads with you rather than assigning them to you: you see the lane, the timing and the rate confirmation before you commit, and you can pass on a load that does not work for your truck or your week. It happens rarely, but a customer commitment or a compliance requirement can leave very little room on a particular day — when that is the case we tell you plainly instead of dressing it up.

Do I need my own trailer?

The listed trailer rent is $250 per week. Trailer availability and whether this charge applies to your arrangement will be confirmed with you.

What type of freight do you run?

Do you accept new truck owners?

Yes, if the driver, tractor, financial expectations and experience meet insurance and compliance requirements.

How long does onboarding take?

Timing depends on documentation, insurance approval, equipment inspection and compliance review. Qualified applicants will receive a clear checklist and next steps.

Do you provide a fuel card?

Yes. Our company fuel card uses the Fleet Core App with fraud protection. Ask our team about access and how the card works for your truck.

Can small fleet owners apply?

Yes. Owners with multiple trucks can request a separate discussion regarding dispatch capacity, reporting and operating terms.
